The brutal feminicide of a young woman in Vienna marks the starting point for a memorial against gender-based violence. In 2022, after a public competition, the city of Vienna and UNIQA decided to finance the FRAU* schafft Raum project, which envisages the transformation of the small business premises, the scene of the crime, into an exhibition and meeting centre as a platform against gender violence.
